Q. [How do feel about your birthday and what are you going to do?]
A: “I am happy that so many people have wished me happy birthday. It would have been nice to spend the birthday with family but ㅠㅠ due to schedule, it looks as though I will have to work. But because it is to show you a better performance, I feel good. ^^”

Q. [How does Hyolyn feel about getting older?]
A: “In someways it’s bad, and other ways, it’s good. ^^; The fact that I am getting more mature is good, but it is also burdensome. To those that look up to me, I worry that ‘I may hurt them or something will happen that will disappoint them’!”

Q. [What age do you look forward to the most?]
A: “30. When I turned 20, I thought ‘Wow, now I’m an adult!’. They say woman is reborn at 30. ^^; I am curious about what my 30 will be like and what I’ll be doing then.”

Q. [What was Hyolyn’s taemong (precognitive birth dream)?]
A: “My mother says that she was walking in the forest when hundreds and thousands of snakes and worms started following her. So she climbed up a tree, but snakes and worms gathered around the tree staring up at her. When she had the dream interpreted, they said that the snakes and worms were people and mother who climbed up the tree was me. ^^ So it must have meant that I will entertain many people from the stage!”

Q. [What was your most memorable birthday?]
A: “I don’t think there was any particularly memorable birthday. I remember spending birthdays busy with schedules with members after the debut, and prior to that, spending them with family or friends.”

Q. [Any special presents?]
A: “I think that I could perform as SISTAR Hyolyn and meeting Bora eonni, Soyou, and Dasom were my most special present. ^^ And all those that love our music are my precious presents. Thank you. Everyone ~♡”

Q. [Any birthday present you want?]
A: “Fan letters and photos. I read and keep all fan letters. When I read fan letters, I really realize part of me that I didn’t know before. Fans tell me a lot about themselves, and I think ‘I must work harder’. And when time passes, only thing that remains are photos. ^^. Fans send framed photos or albums from pictures that they have taken from our stage. Even with passage of time, photos remain forever. If there is an opportunity, I would like to take and keep photos with all of our fans together.”

Q. [If you get a birthday leave, what do you want to do?]
A: “I want to sleep. I want to spend the day sleeping in and eating tasty food! I specially want to really eat mom cooked meal. ^^ Hot sea-weed soup, rice, and shortrib stew! keke Just thinking about it makes me happy.”

Q. [If you look ahead to Hyolyn’s birthday 10 years from now?]
A: “I think I will still be receiving all the fan’s birthday greetings and having a birthday party with the SISTAR members. I also want to have a concert where I can show you my stage on my birthday. Wouldn’t that be possible in about 10 years?”

Q. [Please say a word to the birthday girl, Hyolyn.]
A: “Hyolyn, I really want to wish you a happy birthday. Be healthy and in 2013, I hope that you can entertain many more people! As a SISTAR’s leader, be strong with your members, and hope everyday is filled with happiness and good things. Hyolyn, fighting!”
